Just wanted everyone to know the car wash fundraiser that was scheduled for Oct. 3rd has been cancelled. Too many conflicts in youth calendars to try and pull it off. However, the Jr. High will still be having a pool party at the Lowry’s home. More information at YOUTH this week.

Hear Ye, Hear Ye: HXC begins anew this Sunday for the new school year. See you all THIS SUNDAY, 9.13.09 at 6:00pm in the youth room for a grand time. Sr. High and Jr. High will be together for worshipa and then break for the lesson.
JR. HIGH: Parents please remember, if you have a Jr. High son that wants to continue with the Royal Rangers program that is fine, however we only ask that they make a choice for either the Jr. High group or the Rangers. They cannot switch back and forthe. if you have questions please let me know at pastordoug@hope-chapel.org

This year See You At The Pole is scheduled for September 23rd. This is a great way to pray for your school and friends. You can all the details at www.syatp.com. We will be publicizing the event as well on Sunday mornings and at HXC.

We are headed to Chase Field on Sept. 18, 2009 for a ballgame against the Colorado Rockies. The cost is $20 each with limited space (20 tickets).

Don’t forget, this week is our last Life Group of the summer. The JR HIGH will be meeting for a BBQ/Pool party at the Ewings. The festivities begin at 7pm, so be sure to bring your appetites, swim gear and plenty of friends. The SR HIGH will be meeting at the Irwins Home beginning at 7pm as well. Barb DiMicelli will be leading the time together.

The Fall Calendar of events has been set and available soon. This year we have set multiple fundraiser activities throughout the year to help offset activity expenses as well as a DBacks game (Fireworks, Mercy Me concert, wait service), Lock-In and other stuff.
We will be holding a Parents Meeting on Sunday, August 23rd at 12:30pm in the youth room (directly after the second service) to go over all the fall activities. See you then.

That is right, the 2010 Jr. High Believe conference dates have been set for January 29-31. This year we will be headed for wonderful and wackey Anaheim, CA for the conference. Be sure to watch this post as more info will be coming as it becomes available.
